Jacqueline Gens

Jacqueline Gens MFA, MAT, worked with students and faculty in her long career at the Naropa University followed by working for the late poet Allen Ginsberg as a personal assistant in his NYC office. As a co-founder and director of the New England College MFA in Poetry for over a decade, she advised hundreds of students entering the program. For the past 40 years she studied Buddhist Philosophy and Meditation with some of Tibet’s greatest teachers often writing for Buddhist publications. Her practice of Poetry is mingled with her training in meditation.
